Weddings.   Probably the time where we prepare ear plugs to block out interrogation from relatives and duck tape to seal their mouths so they cannot ask those horrid ‘questions’ about marriage.  However not this time round as I was honored to be the official photographer for David and Susan’s beautiful wedding in Jeju Island! Woop woop!

Just by observing the relationship between the couple and their family and friends, it felt like I knew them for a very long time.  As they were so accommodating and welcoming, I couldn’t help but feel like I was a part of their circle…but whenever that happened I constantly had to slap myself back to reality and boot myself to work.  I don’t think I will ever get use to this bittersweet feeling.  Signs of being still an amateur…

Anyhow, David and Susan flown in all the way from Sydney to hold their special day in Jeju and I would like to thank them again for allowing me to be a part of their beautiful story.  The images above are some of my favourite moments of the day.  Enjoy!

  1. Hi Ken!

“Probably the time where we prepare ear plugs to block out interrogation from relatives and duck tape to seal their mouths so they cannot ask those horrid ‘questions’ about marriage”

I can absolutely relate too. Hahaha You captured the right words. And I’m sure, a lot would express and thank you for this.

I’ve been silently stalking your blog for quite a while. It’s my first time to comment because I feel shy and a bit intimidated I guess. 🙂 Thank you for all the beautiful posts and photos. Your blog is so refreshing, especially when I’m all loaded and occupied for work. Your photos never fail to relax me. Added to this, your blog pushes me to save up and visit South Korea one day. Hopefully, it would happen.

Wishing you a great day ahead!

    • Thank you so much for the kind words! So glad my photos can bring some form of relaxation. Hope you can save up for coming here, it’s a great country ^^^^

      • Wow you replied to my comment!! Thanks 🙂

All my friends who went to South Korea left nothing but praises. They love everything about your country. I’m sure I will have the same sentiments. Can’t wait to experience South Korea to myself!

  2. Ohh these photos bring back memories of me being a bridesmaid at my sis’ wedding…

  3. I love this wedding serie. You captured the atmosphere so well. One can really feel the joy by looking at these pictures. Good job, Ken!
