Not many places where you find an Aquarium in a shopping mall!  It so happens to be one of the best as well…well in my case, in terms of variety of species that is.

Busan Aquarium was great, don’t get me wrong…..but a small yellow cowfish and a sleeping crocodile really makes a difference ^^

So here is my ranking of Aquariums in Korea:

Coex > Busan > Yeosu Expo > 63 building

If you visit, be sure to check out the Coex Aquarium and Busan Aquarium!  The rest ain’t worth it =D

I made 63 building in bold because it was terrible so disappointing and unreasonably expensive.  I had such high expectations of it because of its almighty title: ‘tallest’ building’ in Korea.  The interior design was poor, there was no glass tunnels!!! That is a crime for any aquarium! All you see are dirty tanks with ‘seen them seen that’ species.  I recall only spending 15 minutes in there…

I want my money back….

  1. This looks amazing! What lens did you use, if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve been wanting to visit the 63 Building for a while now and this just clinches it. I really want to get a shot of the outside of the building at sunrise or sunset, to catch the glow. I’m just not sure where the perfect spot is, heh.

    • Hello i use canon 50mm F1.4 lense. I strongly recommend buying it, it’s awesome!

to be honest being the tallest building in Korea…looking at it…it wasn’t very tall…hahaha ^^
