I would like introduce you guys to a very special place of mine.  Not only did i first encounter such an amazing family owned cafe but this place was also where i met my closest friends here in Korea.  The Stephanie Cafe which is located in the city of Gwangju, is run by a loving couple and their cute dog ^^

Unlike many cafes here in Korea this cafe style is really customised to fit the users need to feel like ‘home’ and provide comfortable shelter from the horrid weather.  During the typhoon i came here and stayed for the whole evening (my power was out) ate dinner here, studied a little Korean, and watched Titanic along with the owners and of course their dog!  It went from a horrid, chaotic afternoon to a nice relaxing and warm evening in at the cafe.  Their dog is the cafe’s mascot always skipping around between peoples’ legs and visiting from table to table spreading warm smiles all around the room.

Classic board games and puzzles can be found here and borrowed to play (Monopoly, jenga, game of life etc) whilst eating the delicious food. Their most popular food and drink are the club sandwich (pictured), cheesecake, honebread (post can be found here) and the green tea and mint frappeccino (pictured).
