Ever wanted your dream home to be in the capital city yet keep that countryside essence? I think i’ve found the place…
Bukchon Hanok village provides a tradional Korean setting yet juxtaposes with the skyscraping surroundings. It’s awesome….just thinking about it…it’s like having a holiday country home in the heart of Seoul!
This village is known for it’s traditional housing as well as it’s traditional architecture…treasuring it’s historical culture in the midst of the chaotic urbanisation. The interior seems to be just as funky as the exterior housing and you seem to be greeted by a lot of angry dogs barking at you to ‘get lost’. lolz…
The village consist of a maze full of alleyways making you feel wonderfully lost, yet each wrong turn i end up facing a unique feature of each house. It’s like each family have their own sense of style which gives the feeling of belonging and that ‘home sweet home’ atmosphere….nice-uh!
I think i’ve decided where i want to buy my retirement home now….
